License Inventory#
View details of the license inventory in the Microsoft Tenant and current statistics - users, available, percentage, etc
Inventory Dashboard#
View current status of licenses inventory, key statistics, trends, and assignment summaries for the license inventory
License Allocation#
Setup, manage, and monitor license allocations to segment the overall license inventory within the system.
Manage Allocations#
Add, update, delete license allocations for a given license and level in the hierarchy. Ensures you can’t allocate more licenses than owned
Allocation Dashboard#
View current status of licenses allocations, key statistics, trends, and assignment summaries for the license inventory
Alerting#
Alerting to be notified when configured thresholds are met, e.g., less than 10% of a license allocations is available.
License Assignment#
Manage the assignment of licenses to users and resources in the system. Utilizes and enforces any configured allocations to ensure correct licenses are assigned and allocations are not exceeded
Direct License assignment#
Ability to view and adjust licenses assigned directly to users
Group License assignment#
Ability to manage license assignment to groups and user assignment to groups to receive licenses
Flow through provisioning#
Ability to setup rules to automatically assign licenses to users when they are new in the system removing the need for admins to initiate the process
Orchestrated profile driven onboarding#
Profile driven process to onboard users and assign licenses based on defined profiles in the system (e.g. personas). Simplifies the assignment process without needing to know about specific licenses or business rules. Often used as a simple and non-techncal integration point for external systems (e.g as part of a broader onboarding process)
License Analysis#
The system provides a range of analysis around licenses - from trends, to usage analysis, and optimization opportunities
Usage Analysis#
Utilizes usage information from the Microsoft Tenant to analyze and report on user utilization of licenses
Optimization Analysis#
Providing actionable analysis on opportunities to optimize license assignments - duplicate licenses, disabled accounts with licenses, low or no usage of assigned licenses
