Provisioning a Batch

An entire Batch can be provisioned at once to the target server by setting up a Provisioning Configuration, which provides complete control over the provisioning process. To begin, click the rocket icon on the Batch dashboard.

The following modal will be displayed:

The modal presents the following options:

Add, remove and order Views: Batch Views can be included or removed from the provisioning process. The order of View provisioning can be changed by dragging the View to a new position. The same Batch View can be provisioned multiple times for different actions (e.g. a search followed by an update).

Per-View provision settings: Each View can be configured with its own provisioning settings by clicking the cogwheel icon, for an explanation of these settings see the Provisioning a Batch View section.

Global Settings: Provisioning settings can be set globally, controlling the process for Views which did not define their own.

Resume Provisioning: Allows resuming the provisioning from the point at which it previously stopped.

Provisioning configurations can be exported and uploaded, allowing easy transfer of settings between different VOSS Migrate projects and platforms.
