New Reference Dashboards

Insights now ships with a new, read-only, standard set of VOSS reference dashboards, which you can clone and edit based on your requirements. This allows VOSS to apply new functionality in subsequent releases to the standard set of dashboards so that you can evaluate the new functionality prior to adoption.

Microsoft Teams Calls/Teams Video Rooms Monitoring

This release adds a new dashboard (included in the new VOSS reference dashboards) that uses MS Graph API for monitoring MSTeams Calls and Teams Rooms.

Oracle SBC Alarms, Monitoring, and CDR Collection

Oracle logs and CDRs can now be collected. The logs are correlated and alerts are raised. The CDRs can be submitted to Microsoft Operator Connect API for call accounting.

For CDR folder setup, see Configuration. For details around parsing CDRs, see Add Customer CDR Folders

Audiocodes SBC Monitoring

This feature adds new collection scripts on the Arbitrator for Audiocodes SBC and gateways, as well as new dashboards for collecting data via SNMP and the API. In addition, we've added alerts for Audiocodes and Audiocodes probes.

Certificate Management moved to Admin CLI

We've moved certificate management from root to the Admin CLI. This allows you to control certificates without the need to call support to give you root access.

MS Teams Collector moved to Arbitrator

Customers no longer need to host our MS Teams Collector in their Azure tenant. MS Teams Collector is now installed on the Arbitrator, where you can use MS Teams Config to configure MS Teams monitoring and to set up the tenant collection from Arbitrator. As the collection is now instigated by the Arbitrator, VOSS Insights can now trigger condition-based alarms, providing an early warning system for potential issues, and reducing costs for customers.

Ability to Clone Probe Groups

This feature simplifies onboarding as it allows you to easily clone a templated probe group and to update the IP Address field within the probes. Previously, because some probes must be explicit to an IP address, it was necessary to create probes and probe groups from scratch.

Small enhancements and bug fixes

In addition to the new features and enhancements in this release, we've added several small enhancements, including a number of bug fixes. You can find further details, including links to the relevant topics, on the 23.1 Documentation Portal.
