Microsoft Operator Connect

As part of our enhanced Microsoft offering, VOSS Automate now integrates with Microsoft Operator Connect, providing automation for Providers for managing the Microsoft Operator Connect service, and facilitating processes such as customer onboarding, pushing numbers into customer tenants, and removing numbers.

Microsoft Teams and Teams Phone Licensing via Groups

Group management is a great way to scale the level of users who are licensed. Instead of individually licensing a user, all users who require Microsoft Office 365 licenses can just be added to a properly licensed group and they will inherit it. VOSS Automate now allows for the control of adding or removing Microsoft users to groups. This can be achieved on an adhoc basis or via a workflow when executed through Quick Subscriber, Subscriber from Profile, Flow Through Provisioning, or Quick Offboard Subscriber.

Microsoft PowerShell 5.1.0 Support

This release requires Microsoft PowerShell version 5.1.0. When upgrading to VOSS Automate version 21.4 Patch Bundle 2, you will need this version of Microsoft PowerShell for setting up the PowerShell proxy server for Microsoft Teams.

Webex Teams Calling Improvements

This release enhances the Webex Calling management of user numbers and licenses from the Webex Control Hub. Webex data export now also includes details on user numbers and licenses.

Oracle SBC Call Redirection for Disaster Recovery

This release delivers tools for setting up alternate call routing to plan for disaster recovery, allowing you to support business continuity for end customers. Additional interfaces are provided for enabling/disabling and managing disaster recovery plans, and for setting up related email notifications.

Webex Room OS Scheduled Baseline

You can now set up regular schedules to reset Webex meeting room devices to their baseline configuration. This will remove any custom settings that may have been configured for earlier meetings, and which may interfere with the smooth operation of these devices in meetings set up for the new business day.

Audio Codes ARM Directory Number Reconciliation for External Devices

This feature enables a more complete number inventory status when numbers/devices are outside of Microsoft Teams. Numbers used by AudioCodes devices can be integrated into the number inventory in a Microsoft Teams environment.

Small enhancements and bug fixes

In addition to the new features and enhancements in this release, we've added several small enhancements, included a number of bug fixes, and implemented a number of usability improvements to the Admin Portal, including the ability to easily reorder columns, and to view debug logs in the browser console, plus visual improvements such as new checkbox icons for `True` boolean values in list views. You can find further details, including links to the relevant topics, on the 21.4 Documentation Portal.
