VOSS Automate allows you to configure and manage all elements of emergency call routing for Microsoft Teams, from within the Automate Admin Portal.

There are two approaches to emergency call routing in Microsoft Teams:

The option you choose depends on how your sites are set up, the specific requirements of your organization, and the elements related to each option, which may be grouped as follows:

Emergency Locations This is a group of details in MS Teams that models the Dynamic Emergency Routing elements - the Civic Address and all the related Location Information Server (LIS) details - Location, Subnet, Port, Wireless Access Point, and Switch.
Emergency Location Networks

This is for the additional emergency options not related to the Location Information Server (LIS) elements - Network Sites and Network Subnets.

This can, for instance, help model routing to local security desks rather than directly to emergency services. This basically relates Network Sites and Subnets elements. This feature provides a read-only view to allow you to see Network Sites and related Subnets in a single view - editing either element is done via the dedicated menu item.
Trusted IP Addresses Dedicated menu items in the VOSS Automate GUI allow the addition of IP Addresses or subnets external to the enterprise network that are to be trusted by the MS Teams system for location based services.

In addition to the basic setup for emergency routing, VOSS Automate allows you to create emergency policies and to assign these to users. The following policies are supported:

Default: Operations tool that assigns an emergency location to Microsoft numbers. Unassigned or assigned numbers or a specified range of numbers of a given type are updated to the supplied location id. A temporary user is used during the process and removed afterward when the number is unassigned. Please note that numbers that are already assigned to an emergency location will be reset to the new location.

Temporary Identity * This is a temporary user with an appropiate license. This user will be assigned to a number and then unassigned again to get the location assigned to the number. If the number is already assigned to an emergency location, it will be reset to the new location. If the number is already assigned to a user, it will use the existing user's identity to set the emergency location.

Usage Location * This is a temporary user's Usage Location. The locations are filtered by the Usage Location.

Emergency Location * The emergncy location is build up from the following data. (LocationId,Location,HouseNumber,StreetName,StateOrProvince,PostalCode,CountryOrRegion). The locations are filtered by the Usage Location.

Select Number Option * The number option to use in the number assignment. Default: Numbers

Numbers List of numbers to assign the emergency location to. These numbers are built up from the Internal Number Inventory and MS Teams Numbers in the system. If there are no matchting numbers found, the numbers will not be available for selection. If at Site level, the numbers will only be shown thats at the current Site. The MS Teams numbers may still be at customer level.

Start Number The start number of the range to assign the emergency location to. The number can start with a + or \+.
