The Mail Command
----------------

.. index:: mail;mail list
.. index:: mail;mail read
.. index:: mail;mail del

The system monitors a number of events – these are described in more detail in the topic on Warnings
and Notifications. The events can be signalled externally using email and snmp. However, a local copy of all
events is maintained in the platform user's mailbox.
