Installation overview

The installation process is divided into:

1. The VMWare installation of a node 

   * :ref:`create-a-new-vm-using-the-platform-install-ova`

2. Node setup for single node or multi-node installations 

   * :ref:`multinode_installation`
   * :ref:`standalone-installation`

The node setup stage requires one or more prerequisite VMWare node installations.
