* NDL/NLDR/NDS entities and incorporate into hierarchy elements for hardware assignment to hierarchy.

Device Model Wrappers
----------------------

* A number of device models have been wrapped with relations and/or display policies to improve usability.

LDAP/Directory Integration
===========================

The VOSS Automate system can integrate with directories enabling user data sync, configurable data mapping, automated flow through provisioning, and authentication tasks. Also supports writing back to the directory if required, for example, allocated telephone numbers.

LDAP Sync
----------

* This process synchronizes users from the configured LDAP directory into VOSS Automate. Users then appear at the hierarchy node at which the LDAP User Sync object exists. You can manage the users through User Management menu options (for example, move users to other hierarchies, or push into the infrastructure). You can synchronize users from LDAP by activating a scheduled synchronization, or by performing a manual synchronization.

VOSS Automate provides a rich set of AD integration use cases:

  - LDAP Data Sync: allows user data to be pulled/pushed

  - LDAP Authentication: user credentials authenticated against AD

  - LDAP integration to UC apps: allows support for architectures where UC apps are integrated with AD directly

Filter Move
------------

* The ability to automatically move LDAP-synced users to the appropriate site based on specific mapped attributes.

Write to Active Directory
--------------------------

* The ability to write back to Active Directory as part of onboarding users to provide telephony data, for example, to set allocated telephony number. This is in support of providing an accurate directory, call routing based on directory, etc.

Number Inventory
=================

Internal and external number inventory capabilities allows for the management, allocation, and tracking of number inventories in an automated way.

Internal Number Inventory
--------------------------

* Internal number inventory provides the ability to track your inventory of internal numbers and their use in the system. This is tied into a number of workflows to ensure the selection of numbers is limited to those available. It also automatically manages the status of the numbers based on MACD activities in the system.

The portal provides the ability to:

  - Add, view, and delete internal number inventory

  - View status of internal numbers (used and available)

  - View number inventory dashboard providing stats on the inventory, for example, counts per status, percentage used, etc.

  - Store additional business data about the numbers

  - Number aging/cooling after delete (places the number on hold post service delete to prevent immediate reuse)

  - Number Reservation: set time frame and purpose or reservations; can hook into flow through provisioning for number allocation for VIP, etc.

External Number Inventory
--------------------------

* E.164 inventory management provides the ability to create an inventory of external numbers for tracking. Specific workflows vary for the different vendors. See those features for details.

Number Inventory Audit
-----------------------

* Runs through the setup in the system and updates the number inventory as required: add entries to the inventory, update status, and usage. This allows for the inventory to be reconciled based on activities in the system or when overbuilding an existing system.

Number Inventory Alerting
--------------------------

* Configurable alerts to receive via email, syslog, SNMP, when thresholds are met, for example, below a % of free numbers.

Internal Number Reservation
----------------------------

* Ability to reserve a number for a specific user in order to block this number allocation to anyone else, while ensuring that as part of automated onboarding, the reserved number is assigned to the correct user

Duplicate Internal Number Prevention
-------------------------------------

* Many dialplan implementations allow for duplicate internal numbers. But in dialplans that utilize a "flat" E164 structure, the capability to have duplicates may lead to erroneous configurations. Admins can enable this setting to block any accidental duplication from occurring.

Controlled Number Filter Drop-Down
-----------------------------------

* This allows the admin to create custom number filters and control which of the number filters appear in drop-down options on features such as Quick Add Subscriber and Subscriber from Profile

User Devices and Services
==========================

Provides a wide range of MACD use cases for the full lifecycle management of users and their services across the UC infrastructure (including mixture of vendors)

Subscriber Management, Multi Vendor
------------------------------------

* Consolidated view and workflow for managing subscriber and their mixed range of UC services across vendors. See the vendor-specific tabs for feature details within each environment.

Subscriber Quick Actions
-------------------------

* Provides quick access to a range of quick actions to complete on a subscriber. See vendor tabs for specific actions and features.

Quick Subscriber, Multi Vendor
-------------------------------

* A powerful workflow for adding users and their services into the system with minimal input and the ability to define the services to be added. Consolidated version that covers range of services across the multiple vendors. See vendor-specific variants as well for additional details for each vendor

Easy way to add subscribers and services in a wizard type approach.

Subscriber from Profile
------------------------

* A powerful workflow for adding users and their services into the system with minimal input, with configured services determined by a profile. Supports all services support across vendors. Typically profiles can mirror user types, roles, licenses, etc., so ensure a consistent set of services are deployed.

Flow-Through Provisioning/Zero Touch
-------------------------------------

* Capability to initiate the full onboarding/offboarding/move/update of users and services based on sync from various sources according to configured rules. Rules and configuration available to tune the process to meet differing needs of end-customer requirements and directory data. This provides a zero touch onboarding capability, which removes the need for an admin to be involved in the user onboarding task and provides faster and more immediate onboarding of users. Configurable criteria and mapping to profiles for service definitions using Subscriber Profile. Sources include: LDAP Directory/Active Directory, Cisco UCM, and Microsoft Azure.

Default Roles and Related
==========================

Provides a range of out-of-the box reference role and user experience definitions for various role types to help provide guidance and ease setup.

* Default menu layouts for the above roles.

Default Dashboards
-------------------

* Default dashboards for the above roles.

Default Field Display Policies
-------------------------------

* A range of default field display policies for various feature packages that are part of the product

Authorized Admin Hierarchies
-----------------------------

* This provides the ability for admins to also have end-user services, leveraging a single account. No need to have separate end-user and admin accounts. It also allows the ability to select which sub-hierarchies in a tree, are accessible to an admin. The default behavior is top-down, meaning everything below an antity is visible. This allows the segregation of visiibilty of hierarchy entities within a tree.

Default Configuration Templates
--------------------------------

* A range of default configuration templates for various feature packages that are part of the product to provide different working reference examples based on our field experiences.

Other Default Setup
