VOSS Automate allows for the configuration of Microsoft Teams "External Access Settings". Any settings changed through the MS Portal will also reflect in VOSS Automate.
This feature allows you to manage external access for MS Teams users communicating with users outside of your organization.
Navigate to Microsoft Subscribers > External Access.
A default "allow all" instance with "Global" identity is available at customer level.
Copy or Modify and save the instance.
The following input controls are available:
External Domain Permissions: a drop-down list to select a permission type.
Allow or deny all external domains. When external domains are allowed, users in your organization can chat, add users to meetings, and use audio video conferencing with users in external organizations. By default, your organization can communicate with all external domains.
Choose to allow or block specific domains.
From Allowed Domains, choose to allow or block specific domains. This choice opens an Allowed Domains or Blocked Domains list control respectively. Domains can be added or removed using the list controls. The format is to enter is a domain name, e.g. example.com.
Allow Communication with external Teams Users
A check box allowing people in my organization to communicate with Teams users whose accounts are not managed by an organization.
If enabled, also displays the Allow Inbound Teams Users check box that can be enabled so external users with Teams accounts not managed by an organization can contact users in my organization.
Allow Skype Users
A check box to allow users in my organization to communicate with Skype users.
Click Save to update any changes.
