Backup / Export

Purpose

As good practice, a customer should run a backup on a regular basis.

Procedure

1. Create a localbackup with:

   backup create localbackup

2. Add a remote location for the export with:

   backup add <remotename> sftp://<sftpusername>:<sftppassword>@<IP address>

3. Export the local backup with:

   backup export localbackup <remotename> <timestamp>

   (<timestamp> seen with the backup list command)

4. Ensure that the backup gets run regularly, using the schedule commands.
