Automated Database Cache Cleanup

From VOSS-4-UC release 19.3.2 onwards, it is now longer necessary to schedule or manually manage the database cache optimization using the voss trim-cache command. This command is no longer available.

A resource history is now maintained as a series of resource differences and is automatically optimized.

Note

A minimum retention period of 7 days is applied to resource differences in the resource history.

If a schedule is not set up for this command, system Alerts will be raised as well as a warning on the platform CLI login: CACHE DATABASE MAINTENANCE NOT SCHEDULED
