Voicemail: Overview
-------------------

The Voicemail interface accessed from **Subscriber Management > Voicemail** allows
an Administrator to add, modify or delete Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) Voicemail
users and their associated Voicemail services from a single tabbed form.

The users and associated services added through VOSS-4-UC are also added to Cisco
Unity Connection Voicemail system.

The following can be added/edited using the Voicemail interface:

* CUC Account. A CUC User, consisting of a **Voicemail Account Name**, a **Voicemail
Number** and associated settings and services such as; **Language**, **Time Zone**
and **Unified Messaging Account** (only one per Subscriber can be added in VOSS-4-UC,
  see :ref:`unified-messaging-account` for more details).
* Alternate Extensions. Alternate extension numbers available to the CUC
  Voicemail user. See also :ref:`add_alternate_extension`.
* Message Actions. Actions to determine how incoming Voicemail, Email, Fax and
Receipt messages are handled. Message actions include: **Reject the Message**,
**Accept the Message**, **Relay the Message** and **Accept and Relay the Message**
If the selected message action involves relaying the message, you must enter a
valid email address in the **Relay Address** field.
* Credentials. Password and PIN.
* Notification Devices. Devices used to notify the CUC user of Voicemails sent
to the user. These include: **Phone**, **HTML**, **SMTP (email)**, **Pager**,
and **SMS** (if an SMPP Provider has been added on the relevant Voicemail server).
  See also :ref:`add_additional_notification_devices`.
* Caller Input - Caller inputs associate the caller input keys to specific actions.
You can choose an action to associate with each key by choosing it from a drop-down
  list. See also :ref:`manage-caller-input-keys`.
